Members of the Company are holders of licences issued under the Water Industry Act, or authorisations under the National Energy Legislation. This page contains the list of our current Members.
Applying for membership
Electricity and gas transmission, distribution and retail service providers (including certain exempt sellers) and water and sewerage service providers (with certain exceptions) are required to participate in an ombudsman scheme. This page provides some information about membership with the Energy and Water Ombudsman SA.
Embedded Networks
From 1 January 2019, exempt persons, such as sellers and distributors of electricity to Embedded Networks, who supply and sell energy to residential customers in South Australia must join Energy and Water Ombudsman SA. This page provides information on embedded networks and how to deal with complaints about embedded networks.
